Stone and Seashell Picture Frame

I found a great deal on picture frames at Target. A 4 pack of frames for 5 dollars! I wanted to decorate them and make something fun and creative. I had some stones and crushed seashells laying around so I figured it was time to get the hot glue gun out and get to work.

Turning a plain basic frame into a beautiful craft project is easy, but time consuming. Don't let that turn you away though, because the outcome is well worth it.

First things first, the ideas you'll need is:
  • Basic Picture Frame
  • Crushed Seashells
  • Stones  (any kind will do, I used glass)
  • Hot Glue Gun

A Much Needed Weekend

Jason and I was suppose to ride up to northern Alabama to see his dad before he moved back to IN. Although we was not able to do so due to rain. So instead we savaged the weekend and spent it together.
Saturday I actually got Jason to agree to going to Hobby Lobby with me! We looked at all sorts of things, got my 2 bags worth of supplies :) Afterwards we stopped into the Harley Davidson dealership and got Jason a new shirt! (Which he looks handsome as ever in)

Sunday was a fabulous day, we went for a ride out to the Gulf State Pier. We just walked down to the end and saw a guy standing really close to a Pelican. Her name was Samantha, she was rescued for the BP oil spill 2 years ago. She let Jason and I both pet her!

Crafty Glass Picture Frame

I went to Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and got a bunch of new craft supplies. They had a wicked sale going on, one of them being 50% off their picture frames! I found this 'Floating Picture Frame'...
So I figured I would post on here on how to take this plain ol' picture frames and turn it into a fun crafty creation :)

The Supplies List:
"Floating" Picture Frame. (You can use any picture frame, just need something bigger than the picture your using)
Paper (I used Scrapbook paper)
Scrapbook tags
Phrase Stickers.

In With The New

Finally I have found a design that I enjoy!
With Autumn just around the corner I figured why not make a warm and cozy layout. Took me a bit longer than I wanted with work and everything else taking up all my time. I'm still trying to figure out how to get in a 'me' time slot to be able to just sit back and relax, do some crafts.
Speaking of crafts, I have some really great ideas floating around. I have sat down and made some pretty/cool things that I'm very proud of. *The pictures are below* I am planning on making tutorials for all of it. I have all the pictures for it, I just need to get them all on my laptop and uploaded. I'm shooting to have some up tomorrow on my *!*DAY OFF*!*

For now, I hope you enjoy the new design, and look back for more updates :)
